TESTING OF MASTER TALKBACK AND SLAVE TALKBACK

Master talkback

Master device connects with the business broadcasting and Slave device and reports the business

to the operation place and depot premises.

Electrical characteristic :

AC 220V ± 10% 50 Hz

c. Rating input

(1) Slave device : 5W

(2) Broadcasting speaker : 15W

d. Input Impedance

(1) Slave device : 600Ω ± 20%.

(2) Broadcasting speaker : 2kΩ ± 15%.

TEST METHODE

Voice receiver in master, slave and speaker must be clearly.

A normal communication between Control block and Operation console is confirmed :

Tx LED and Rx LED of the CONT board panel light.

POWER LED of operation console lights

ALARM LED of operation console is turned off.

The test configuration is refer to fig. I. 1, 2, and 3

I. Communication from Talk back Master unit to Talk back Slave unit.

a. Push Line switch (no 1) and the LED indicator should be on

b. Push the change switch for sending the message

c. If the operator in talk back master unit receive the message, there is no button mush be pushed.

d. Record the result of voice receiver and communication ( Good or Not Good ) to attached FUNCTION TEST REPORT.

e. If communication is finish, push reset switch and then the lamp (no 1 ) will be off.

f. Repeat step point a to e for the other line switch depend on amount of talk back slave unit in depot.

II. Communication from Talk back Slave unit to Talk back Master unit.

a. Push the button in Talk back Slave unit (TB1), and sending the message, so Line switch lamp (no 1) in Talk back Master unit will light.

b. From Talk back Master unit, sending the message with push the change switch button.

c. Record the result of voice receiver and communication ( Good or Not Good ) to attached FUNCTION TEST REPORT.

d. If communication is finish, push reset switch and then the LED indicator will be off .

e. Repeat step point a to d for the other Talk back Slave Unit in depot.

III. Pagging from Talk back Master Unit to Broadcast Unit ( speaker )

a. Push Paging switch (no.1) so the lamp will be light on. While the operator in Talk back Master send the message (paging)

b. Record the result of voice receiver and communication ( Good or Not Good ) to attached FUNCTION TEST REPORT.

c. If paging is finish, release Paging switch and then the lamp (no.1) will be light off.

d. Repeat step point a to c for the other paging switch depend on amount of broadcast unit in depot.

IV. Volume Adjustment

a. The telephone volume to slave device and the receiving talk volume from the child device can be adjusted from master device to the unit of line.

V. Broadcasting

a. The (BROADCAST) switch display light of the correspondence light when (BROADCAST) switch is pushed.

b. It is possible to broadcast to the selected broadcasting line.

c. After broadcasting ends, (RESET) switch is pushed.

VI. Alarm Output

a. It abnormally displays to operation console when Master device is abnormal, and the warning point of contact is output.
